Documentation Civilization BoardGame – October 2008
Day 4
–The Late Bronze Age – Part 2 Back to Main Page
We started in Turn 13, right before the Acquisition of
Civilization Advance Cards.
Turn 13 – We
had an Earthquake for Hatti, also hurting Minoa and a Flood for Egypt.
Minoa
developed written record (focus on science), the Celts Agriculture, Assyria
Mysticism,
Rome Mythology, Carthage
Pottery and Hatti Monarchy.
Turn 14 – Minoa
built 2 new cities and did overrun the 2nd stolen city from
Carthage. The assistant leader
of Hellas (Carthage) did
well in securing his own homelands in Carthage, but Hellas lost areas to
Minoa, Egypt, Rome and
Assyria. Luckily he managed to get the empty city in Tomi back.
Babylon gave back its
illegal occupied areas and got peace with its direct neighbors. There were also
some war activities between
Rome and Iberia, but only little was to be heard from that at the Eastern End
of the
World.
Rome lost a city by
Treachery to Assyria, which was immediately lost by Famine. Iberia had a Slave
Revolt and was
forced to reduce 3 of its 5
cities.
Minoa developed Empiricism
and called itself afterwards Empire : - ) : - ) : - )
The Celts developed
Architecture and Iberia Sculpture.
After having the top spot on
the AST for the last 6 rounds, the Minoans have to share the top spot with the
Celts.
Turn 15 – Hellas
still worked on hurting the Minoans and won one border land in the Minoan
territory. Attacking now for the
third round in a row as
first he lost areas to the Assyrians, Egypts, Romans and Minoans, which did
take over almost
all areas on Hellas
Mainland. Even the capitol in Athens was lost.
There were also some ongoing
conflicts between the two monarchs in Egypt and Hatti and between Rome and
Iberia.
Here are some game impressions:
After almost 3 hours we stopped before the “Trade
Card Acquisition” phase in Turn15.
