Welcome to the ICCD Project

Internationally Co-ordinated Curriculum Development
for Modules in Intercultural Communication

This page will introduce the work and results of the ICCD Project.

The ICCD Project was recommended for funding by the EC Commission under its Asia-Link Programme in August 2003 as ASI/B7-301/98/679-047 (79421). It was inaugurated in March 2004 and ended in March 2007 after a duration of 36 months.

General information about the project, its participating institutions, staff, objectives, work programme, process, results etc. can be found on the ICCD mainpage.
A major part of the ICCD Project consisted of developing and implementing new internationale modules taught simultaneously at all partner institutions. Information about the modules can be found on the respective Classpages.

During the project's lifetime all material was available on the project's web pages at: (deactivated)

End of 2007, the project's original domain has been deactivated. The ICCD mainpage is now hosted by the applicant, Centre for East Asian Studies at Dresden University of Technology. Classpages for locally repeated modules will then be hosted by the respective universities. Nonetheless, they will be easy to identify by the ICCD layout which will be kept and used by the partners for all ICCD related activities.
