I am a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Multimedia Technology Group / Interactive Media Lab at the Department of Computer Science of Dresden University of Technology, Germany. I received my diploma in Media Computer Science at the Dresden University of Technology, where I also obtained my Ph. D. in 2010 for the thesis on "Ontology-based Indexing and Contextualization of Multimedia Documents for Personal Information Management Applications".

My current research interests include user-oriented multimedia information retrieval and management using Semantic Web technologies.
